For New Zealand, these are pretty much the first 2 that come to mind. Qubic Store, owned by Frank Liew who most people on here will know http://qubicstore.com/ & Loaded. Although they are owned by a corprate so it may be a bit hard getting lesser known brands in. http://www.loadednz.com/ if you DM me your email address I can talk to you about a few smaller streetwear stores out here in NZ

I'd say the aesthetic is really the same. As we grow older and learn more about fashion in general however I think we start to look for higher quality materials, better fitted items and potentially even ethically better choices. Brands like nudie are a prime example. good quality, well fitted cuts and the organic brand factor. It's by no off chance the brand has become as big as it is now. Another example is the growing presence of traditionally hiking/outdoor companies becoming synonymous with streetwear. The first generation of streetwear followers want higher quality materials used in products (goretex jackets etc.), these brands are the suppliers of such things. The signature tee/denim/sneaker is still a staple as it ever was, it is just the brands, fits and materials of products that are changing.

every high school kid down here in new zealand wears jansport, and all the uni students wear herschel sc. it's sad how played out both brands are. I would definately recommend hiking brand day packs. I've had my Macpac Litealp for 5 years this month and it shows absolutely no signs wear at all. It sits nicely, without sticking out and looking boxy and also doesnt slouch like my jansport bags used to. after easily unstitching the branded panel at the front it just seems like a plain black backpack, but has the quality of a hiking pack. http://www.macpac.co.nz/shop/en_nz/gear-and-clothing/packs/packs-day-packs/litealp.html
