[Quote]Well it's pretty literal, the soft wash simply makes the material feel softer. It's safe to trust your judgement on the color differences; the soft wash is closer to a true green shade. I actually like that color better.

[Quote]I'd say get a medium. Sounds like you might be able to pull off a small but it'd probably be a tight. If you plan on wearing a hoodie underneath and/or wearing the jacket zipped up, def go with medium. They've got a new size visualizer on the site now, I'd try it out. I found my size by measuring up one of my favorite jackets and then comparing it to the parka.

[Quote]If your ankles are super thin, you shouldn't have any problems. If they start stretching out at all, wash them and then tumble dry on a delicate/low-heat setting for 10 minutes maximum and then air dry the rest of the way. Always does the trick for me

Got the Parka smokeyface [Image] Large fits me perfect (6' 170lbs) though it is a little tight in the shoulders. The shape doesn't allow for much movement of your arms above your head, but it is very slimming and has a great silhouette. The one curve ball that hit me hard is that the zipper is actually made for a lefty. I was a little confused about this at first but I've grown to like it. As a musician, one of the most important pieces of advice I received when I was younger was to use my left hand as much as possible for everyday things like opening doors and brushing my teeth. There's something oddly satisfying about learning to zipper a left-handed jacketblushing Overall, I'm very happy with it. Very well made. I'd like to own another color or two of this parka. Also, I waterproofed the shit out of it with a water-based proofer. Wore it out in a snow storm and it seemed to do the trick.

Easy to say, as it most often is true. But they even used the exact same photos for both Jonty's there. What are the finer details and different theme in this case?

Those are actually the exact same color and lining. When they list the same item twice, it means that both were released in a different drop. Usually the lining is a different print in this situation, but it looks like those are both the big mouth lining ?) That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if you ordered a Medium in both pairs and they both fit you differently.

[Quote]Man… I never got mine to break in as much as I would have liked.. If they are uncomfortably tight when you first start wearing them, you should just send them back and size up. They aren't going to loosen up and fit great if they are uncomfortable when you first start wearing. I think when ILU says that they loosen up to your actual size, they mean that they already should fit decently when you first put them on and then they will start molding to you. I know nylon had some luck with getting his to fit more comfortably, so I'd keep wearing 'em if they do fit you decently already. Just don't expect any miracles out of them, exchange them before it's too late if you're not too hopeful

For those who pulled the trigger on the Parka, what do you think overall? I saw someone posted a fit pic a couple of pages back and it looked nice. I've been eyeing the navy one for months now and I'm leaning towards finally snagging it. Also, anyone know when the malaughingavis code is set to expire?

For everyone that has the problem with their Track pants stretching out: I got mine to bounce back to their original shape. I ran them through a cold wash cycle in the machine with a normal load of my laundry. I then put them in the dryer, on the Delicate setting (low heat), with the rest of my clothes. I removed the track pants 5 minutes into the drying session to make sure that they weren't going to shrink too much. I let them air dry in my room, folded over a chair, and they came out perfect. The stretching in the crotch/thighs region was completely reversed and they fit just as they did when they were new :D  I emailed ILU about it before I tried it out, and they actually recommend giving them a nice run through the dryer with the rest of my clothes after washing. But I'd beware of giving them a full cycle in the dryer. I'm just gunna keep using the 5 minutes in low heat -> air dry method. Works perfect!

I got the medium track pant and the thigh area seems to have stretched out considerably since first wear, which is expected. Gunna try soaking and hand washing them in hot water tomorrow to see if they can contract back to normal. Seems to have lost that Zespy silhouette that I love smh Will post results.

@Nylon I wear size 32 waist in almost all of my pants. The Medium Ralph was way too tight; I definitely felt constricted. With the Large, I have to wear a belt or they start creeping down really quickly. There's not a lot of extra room up top but the motion of walking starts dragging them down and it gets really 'baggy' above my knees. I'll take your word for it though man, I'll keep on stretchin' them out over time.  As far as the Jonty, sounds like Large would be my best bet. If I could actually head to their store and try stuff on, I'd easily walk out with a couple pairs of pants and a parka.. Next time I order from them on-line, I'm going to have nightmares about sizing issues while they are being shipped!  As far as the Zespy, I fell in love with these pants. I feel a little strange wearing them with just a tee, especially if it's on the smaller side just because I'm not used to the dropcrotch style. But with winter quickly approaching, they are looking great with layers. I may snag those Army Greens sometime soon, but I couldn't see myself having more than 2 pairs in my wardrobe.

[Quote]Cheers man. Yeah, below the knees it was just way too tight for me. I actually wore the mediums around for a couple of days while I had them, hoping that they'd loosen up enough but to no avail. As for the larges, it honestly didn't make much of a difference on the calves. I'm going to keep them in hopes of stretching them out over time, but they are way too uncomfortable for me to wear out at the moment. I've come to peace with the fact that this pant type just wasn't meant for me. But if they end up fitting over time, that'd be great.   I'll definitely take a look at the Jonty's. I'm a little intimidated by the sizings though... If the Zespys fit me perfectly in L, would I be safe with L Jonty's? I could see myself getting some of those army greens.. The army green Zespy too, damn they look good.

[Quote]It looks like he is wearing larges, and that they are sitting a few inches below his waist than normal. They look ridiculous from the side.. Not really diggin' that whole look haha Side note: I traded my Medium Ralphs in for Large... Still doesn't even fit me right. I guess these pants just aren't made for my body type, which sucks because they are really cool.  Wonder if these guys plan on coming out with another type of pant sometime in the next year or two. I'd love something similar to the Zespy but with less of a drop-crotch. Not much of a fan of the Jonty look. Will be interesting to see if they come up with another type.
