Has anyone here heard of Big E raw selvedge denim?

And not Big E as in Levis, but as in Big E Jeans which apparently is based out of Europe.  Their website itself indicates very little info, although Google shows that they are available on the UK online retailers.   Reason I ask is that I managed to scoop a pair raw selvedge Big E's in the clearance section at Winners for $40 (which is the Canadian equivalent to TJ Maxx in the USA).  Aside from the somewhat confusing name of choice being an outright rip off of what Levis has established itself to be, the price I paid is the only thing keeping my interest.  If anyone knows the quality and what can be expected of these, please share your thoughts.  Thanks!

Online Shipping Calculator

*Disclaimer* I'm in no way affiliated with this website or online tool. I came across the site and figured it may be useful for online shoppers. The calculator only gives an estimate of the total cost of importing an item from the USA into Canada. That being said, I'm not responsible for any discrepancies between the estimated and the actual total shipping costs. I'm not sure if this has been shared on the boards, but if it has, my apologies and please delete. Over the past little while, I've read about people asking about shipping costs, duty and customs fees. I recently came across this useful tool that briefly explains and "estimates" these costs. For Karmaloop shoppers, the calculator doesn't include DHL. But I have read DHL's fees to be similar to Fedex's fees. Again a useful tool to give you an idea on total costs, so take if for what it's worth. Just plug in the numbers.
