Yeah, there were a lot of high school - first year uni kids in the Toronto line shaking hands with everyone. You can tell they were just waiting until someone invited them in line. And, of course, they always were.

|0 Pretty big disappointment for me. Hopefully the cops were there for a serious reason because it sucked watching the workers stroll in with their coffees 30 minutes before "opening" only to not let anyone in until at least 30 minutes after (when I left after freezing in the cold for an hour and a half) "opening". It was a huge ass line where people were jumping the line like crazy, they could have at least said something about why they weren't letting anyone in. I'm tired of how they make customers wait so long, doubt I'll be showing support to the store as beautiful as it is. This after just dropping $300 on a pretty plain sweater just a few weeks ago too... might just return that if I still can.

Everyone in the theatre was laughing throughout the movie - at parts that were not supposed to be funny. Very corny at times.

[Quote] Its true. It was a great store, but ran horribly. Always seemed to treat customers like trash. Remember I wanted to try on a shoe once, and regretted that lol. Trying to get in during a sale was always a pain too. Never fun waiting hours only to see like 5 people looking around.

There's still some nice places to get sneakers though. And I'm pretty sure there's a Bloor STreet store that carries some of what Goodfoot used to carry.

Was happy to finally get some BBC at a reasonable price, happy for the sale!! Never understood why a BBC tshirt had to sell for so much.

Does Goodfoot still exist in Toronto? The store on Bloor still seems to carry its name.

[Quote] No disrespect to Livestock, I love the store and support it. However, I bought a PlayCloth tee ON SALE, and it still came in around $60. That's not overpriced when tees on the official site go on sale for $16.77 and sell regularly for $38?? I realize their anthem is "We Got it 4 Cheap," but please don't pretend Livestock is selling it at a great price while probably rap'n 'we got it for cheap' as soon as the customers leave the store. I have no problem with the BAPE prices though, that stuff is harder to get and more expensive to begin with. This thread is about keeping street wear on the streets. I'm all for that as long as I'm not paying more to buy at all of my favorite local shops (which I pretty much am).

[Quote] Try the shirts on at the Richmond store, but Im pretty sure the tees are cheaper online. I'm not a big fan of the stussy store in general... their events (grand opening, boxing day, etc..) are always horrible. Make you wait like 2 hours to get in. Waited for their grand opening because I expected something special, but wasn't going to wait on Boxing day after waiting two hours just to spend more than I would have if I bought online.

Meh, "street" stores in Toronto all are over priced anyways. Usually I can buy on the official websites for cheaper - especially Stussy and Play Cloths. If stores like nomad, livestock, etc are going to overcharge, I don't think it's completely selling out
