Evolution of Denim

Hey guys. Grifter Streaky going into retirement. Approx 9 months daily, 5 hot washes and maybe 2-3 tumble drys (a sin I know....was in a hurry). I need to learn to be more dirty and wash less. Photos outside with flash, a set on the fence and a set on the ground + auto adjust. [Image]

"broken twill"

[Quote] Really Kiya? I thought a big Co. like Nudie would always use the same denim for quite a few years. Interesting.

Ande Whall Denim

Hey Subculture. In the last collection V3, I had 4 styles available, Raker-Slim/tapered....Grifter-slim/straight leg....Cougar-reg/straight leg.... and Akira-loose/long rise/mild tapered leg. The Cougars went up to 38" and the Akira up to 41". The best sellers were Grifter and Cougar, so I will focusing on those 2 styles in the immediate future. Cougars wil go up to 36".blushing Thanks for the pic's you SuFu goooons. x

Evolution of Denim

Thanks. Hey bigbadbuda, did you e-mail me? I did do bigger sizes with the Akira cut up to 41" and 38" in the Cougar. Sorry at present I am just making limited edition runs of the Grifter cut, which has been the most popular. In the near future I hope to manufacture the Grifter and Cougars at a factory...then possibly add more styles down the road. Sorry man! Being such a small company Its hard to keep all the styles and afford to produce them in bigger quantities. I do want to have a style for the bigger cats back on board one day.blushing [Image]

Evolution of Denim

Cross posted from SuFu. Hey guys. Washed my AW Grifters last week, just got around to taking photos. Worn every day for 8 months, one machine wash at 3 months and one last week. I starched the combs about once a week to keep em' crispy. I washed them on delicate cycle, but they could do with a really good wash as the contrast is a bit dirty still. Still loads of indigo to knock to these, so will probably wash again at 12 months. [Image]

Wow. i dont really know what to say

I actually quite like it, looks well done...good shading and there is no text. My brother has got full sleeves and he got a ripcurl "The Search" tattoo when he was young, kinda blends though.

Inspiration vs. Duplication: Who did first? (And does it matter?)

The Medusa is their thing though...their logo, icon or whatever. I don't see anything wrong with putting out different versions of the medusa. Ape face for Bape...there has been a squillion different versions. The origins of those logos are somewhat 'unoriginal'...but hell, they have companies, and they are doing stuff.
