Starting a New Line/Brand Feedback Thread

We always value constructive criticism. We totally agree that our photography on our shop page is shocking and need to sort it out, we are already in the process of sorting this out. But to be fair we have been running for less than a year and we are already in 2 shops selling out, thats got to be worth some credit. Although people may call our designs 'SAFE', there would be no reason why us as a brand would bring out something hideous just because it might 'set a trend'. We are a lifestyle brand, bringing out clothing that people can wear everyday. We don't over complicate things and choose the simplicity route as some people say its the key to success. Just want to thank people who support our brand and again appreciate the positive and constructive feedback.

@jakelights haha yeah mate we are getting phasing it out. The hashtag seemed cool at first but like the other guys state we learn from mistakes. @chadacadabra @aldenteco @adriane really appreciate all your feedback. its the reason why I post on here. But to be honest we are all a family of snowboarders and skateboarders, and we wanted to show who the faces are behind the brand. These boys all shred so hard and are the reason why we are in this position we are now, if it wasn't for them, people wouldn't be buying it and we wouldn't be stocked in 2 shops already. We wanted to showcase that. But seriously we will take all your feedback on board and learn from it in the future.

@karakter1 I didn't want to use it because I wanted my site to look different than the majorities. I look at quite a lot of sites that use bigcartel and they all look the same. But now I realise that you can customise it and make it look so much different. Thanks for the advice though man. @rawtee @jakelights @craftysince90 @cityofsavages @givenchy Thanks for the advice! Think im guna go ahead and use it. Personally I just like how easy it is to select your product and check out quickly. On my shop it takes quite a while to check out so personally I feel this could put off some people. Thanks!

Just looking for somebodies opinion on big cartel stores. I prefer not to use big cartel because everyone is doing it but I don't know if people who are currently using it find an increase in web sales? Is it because of how easy it is to select your product, checkout with minimal address and card forms to fill out? I use an online store built into my website and would appreciate any feedback on it? www.strdywngs.com thanks

[Quote] The hashtag is part of our brand name in a way. The story behind it is that we are both snowboarders and everytime we posted on our personal twitter accounts we always used to say #strdywngs for fun. So in the end we decided to make a brand that all our mates could wear whilst skating and snowboarding. So it grew from there. Thanks for the feedback on the patch though. Glad you like it blushing. It will be featured on black full zip hoodies for the winter range due out soon.

@ryder thanks man! Appreciate the feedback. We got them done over here in the UK. Were sewing them onto our garments, tested it a few times with some samples and they stitch on ok. We use hemming web first to stick it on so it doesn't move all over the place when sewing.
