Opinion on stealth releases

I'm sure you all remember what happened when the solars and plats were scheduled for release on twitter.  Nike broke and people were salty. The nike customer service lines were stuffed for about 24 hours.  Death threats were given and I even remember kicksonfire making a post trying to boycott nike or something like that.  I'm sure a bunch of you are still salty that you didn't get the octobers, but you must admit that ninja'ing the link was the safest, and fairest way to get the shoes.   To be honest I wouldn't mind if nike did stealth releases for the most popular shoes more often, as it really gives everyone a fair chance.  And don't talk to me about that raffle nonsense. I know for a fact 21 Mercer is sus.  I just want to know your opinion on stealth twitter drops and if you think it's the right way to go for those 'grail' type shoes.  I personally hope they do it for the Supreme and Yeezy foams because if they don't it'll be anarchy all over again.

You didn't read properly.  First off. I'm writing this with the understanding that regardless of my logic you'll have a rebuttal that you think justifies whatever you're doing. And that pun off the word ass that you made makes this whole condescending 'I'm the smartest guy in the room' thing that you're going for even funnier. Oh also the, 'LOL U mad'.  You must be a 12 year old with too much time on your hands.  I think SSUR is just as bad as this however, they at least have a few original pieces here and there. Selling a shirt with 'Channel' on it and making money off of it is just baffling to me. You're basically justifying your actions by telling me about brands that ripped off luxury fashion designers. That does nothing for your argument whatsoever. The main difference between all of those brands is that regardless of what they might have made in the past, not ever was the focus as large as on your poor pieces of clothing. Neither was it ever the only thing they were selling. This brand shows no creativity whatsoever.  If you're going to say that your pieces are a commentary on high end brands, then why is it that your YSL shirt, which again, has a main focus of the logo, have 'young savvy lifestyle' under it? That seems like more of an endorsement. Making such a tiny tweak to your pieces and then making a stand saying they're pieces on social commentary is hilarious. At the end of the day, like I said you're piggybacking off the success of already established brands. You won't get sued because of rights to parody but it's still a shame you don't have an ounce of creativity.  Furthermore. Luxury brands are luxury brands for a reason. Like it or not, not everyone can afford something from LV or Burberry or Balenciaga and that's the point. People that were buying from them before the recession still were during and after. They don't cater to the middle class. That's what Gap and H&M and Macy's are for. So your whole stand on that is flawed.

As I was looking through this, I couldn't help but laugh. Do you honestly think that those brands that you listed really made their way up by copy and pasting high end logos on shirts with subtle tweaks here and there. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that gold foil nonsense because it's just a joke. A LV logo on a shirt that's not LV. When the main focus is the logo, you're just piggybacking off success of the brand.  And also talking to prospective customers like this just shows how unbusinesslike you are. Telling people that someone can't afford a 50 dollar t shirt is just comical.
