How The Role Will Develop

Hypebeast requires an editorial intern to assist, coordinate and plan the launch of our new project. With your multitasking abilities and quick thinking, you will aid in finding resources for our posts as well as participating in other editorial activities. Your responsibilities will range from corresponding with fashion brands to assisting with photo shoots. This is a great experience to work behind the scenes of an online fashion publication with potential to be made permanent upon finishing traineeship. A successful candidate will display a high level of independence and the ability to problem-solve. This proactive nature is required in a fast-paced online editorial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Writing, assisting and supporting editorial staff in all activities leading to publication
  • Liaising with other departments and contributors to negotiate and monitor timescales for stages in the publishing process
  • Organizing and researching projects based on deadlines
  • Obtaining rights to use materials from other publications
  • Cooperate with brands internationally and locally to gather products
  • Using your own specialist knowledge to contribute ideas
  • Will be called upon to write posts, newsletter, press releases and etc.
Qualifications
  • Must be based and eligible to work in Hong Kong
  • Fluency in English is an absolute must (spoken and written)
