Founder of White Mountaineering
Yosuke Aizawa, a student of Product and Textile Design at Tama Art University launched White Mountaineering in 2006. Commencing the year in a strong manner, White Mountaineering was invited onto the runway at Italian menswear trade show Pitti Uomo before going on to Milan and Paris the same season – several of the most important instances of foreign exposure outside the label’s Japanese market. A reverence of the outdoors leads Aizawa in creating his technically inclined yet fashionable collections, focusing on subtle details in guiding his brand to its elite status. Also in 2013, White Mountaineering came on board to head up a diffusion line with Moncler known simply as Moncler W.
