I can get these halfcabs that I want in an 8 or a 9, but I wear an 8.5....

I never tried on halfcabs but I heard they run a little big, so do you think an 8would be cool?

the supreme half cabs they released a few months ago, i fit perfectly in size 10... however the bulletproofs i had to size up to 10.5 most likey due to padding... make sure its not padded and you should go with your true size (im 10 in dunks hi/low, 10.5 in sb lows)

yeah the bulletproof versions are REALLY TIGHT, im on day 4 and im just now breaking them in to where they are normal 10s and don't feel like a 9.5

Karmaloop sent me a size 9.5 womens...8 men.....arghhhhhhhh...and now they're out of stock

(I asked for a 9.5 men) hope they gimme some sort of exchange/refund...anyone from karma care to help?

btw, I think they do run a bit big...but I usually wear 9..but 9.5 for more space (comfort)..you should be fine with either 8 or 8.5..

syndicate - half size small
vault - true
GR - half size big
supreme - true

sorry, let me be more specific:

the gr half cabs are the ones that run a little big (black, navy, baby blue, lake blue, pesto green, crown purple, etc etc).

for whatever reason (probably because of the special materials), syndicate half cab sizing seems to be inconsistent compared to the gr's. i normally fit into a size 7 gr half cab comfortably, but my size 8 hemps are extremely snug (almost even tight). then again, some of my other syndicate half cabs, which are a size 7.5, fit me perfectly. so i guess it really depends on the model when it comes to the syndicates.

edit: ^ itsmedeka has the right idea.

Well I'm going to be getting the 50.50 cabs what do you think those would fit like?? Would I still be safe with an 8?

For those that have no idea. The 50-50 cabs look nothing like the pictures on the Hypebeast main page in person. The true colors are revealed on the 5050 and Crooked Tongues site. It's not dark blue/dark grey that everyone is thinking, they're actually North Carolina blue and light grey and they look horrible. Just a heads up for you guys before you actually buy them.

yea i saw the diff between the original HB posting and what was on the 50/50 website... i do wish the grey was darker but i still like the colorway itself... bape posted his in the pickup section and it still doesnt look too shabby... i think its all due to lighting the the brushing of the suede (e.g. everyone confusing the new w)taps for purple in some pics)...

i wear a size 12 usually and never bought a pair of vans before so im not too familiar w/ the sizing..i was looking at a pair of bulletproof half cabs and wasnt sure if i should grab a 13 or if their sizing is pretty much on point?

I wear a 12 in SBs but in Half Cabs I wear an 11.5, which is standard for me for most Vans. Hope that helps.

yea i heard the bulletproof half cabs fit a little smaller cus of the tongue padding thats why i was thinkin of goin w/ a 13..thanks for the info tho..ill probly just wait till a 12 comes along

Seeing as you're in Toronto it's not like you couldn't just go downtown or to any skateshop and try them on for yourself. Problem solved.

thanks, i can get a good deal with some online so thats why I'm asking, I'll probably go with a 10.5 but I'm debating over whether to get them or the big daddy kane pumas

Just grabbed a pair of the Syndicate Bulletproof Half Cabs. I'm a 10 in most low and high SB's, Air Max, Jordans, but a 10 in these was just a little too snug for my liking. A 10.5 in a few other shoes. Grabbed a 10.5 in these. A 10.25 probably would have been perfect but that's nitpicking. Just trying to give people here reading as good an idea as possible on fit.

On a side note, the package these come in is incredible...especially considering the price point. Slick high quality pull-out black box, with the shoes in a white cotton bag inside. Very nice.
