the hosoi 2s have a lot of padding and fit tighter than regular sk8 highs...idk about the first ones

These are the reason I got addicted to Vans.
Took me more than a few months to find a pair of the 1st editions in my size but it was worth it. I couldn't bear the 2nd editions, they just didn't look right.

i stayed true to my size in sk8 hi which is .5 lower than anything else...you could probably get away with sizing down 1 full size versus what you would wear in dunks or .5 down from what you wear in sk8 high...but i didnt
