What Vans are you SKATING lately?

Of course, for the handful of Hypebeasts that actually skate.. haha.

Right now, I'm skating some 006 Wtaps Chukkas

I'll post pictures when they're thrashed enough.

This can be a general Vans skateboarding discussion.
Post pics here, and talk about what you do and don't like about your Vans' performance on the board.

Hopefully this gets rolling!

On a side note, trolls really hurt my feelings, etc.

Disagree. I think the half cabs have great board feel. I hate super clunky skate shoes though.

Currently skating in Versas which are really nice actually. the cupsole is a nice change from vulcs. comfortable too. before those went through a spell of chukka lows and av6s (in a half size down) and half cab pros if i need a bit more support...

pretty stoked, got a pair of era pros on order so they should be the next in line. heard good things...

Yeah, Versas skated well. I couldn't get over the toe curl thou. I went through the Chukka low phase too. haha.

Good luck with your Era Pro's, I too have heard good things. They have a Duracap between the foxing and original front foxing strip. It's grey colored. Pretty cool, cause it's supposed to add a lot more strenght to the toe.

I just started skating like 2 months ago and I had half cabs already so I use em as my skate shoes and love em, feel so great. Starting to get tore up

That's becasue they're canvas. Canvas tears instantly no matter what shoe it's on (assuming it's in a spot that comes into contact with the grip tape). Suede, nubuck, and leather are generally the tougher choices that skate well. Waxed canvas is tougher, though.

On a side note, trolls really hurt my feelings, etc.

yea, disagree.
i skate my iron maiden sk8 hi's till this day.
have to be the best skating shoe to date.

never liked bulky kicks.

i was never that impressed with the hi's i expected them to be a cross over with the lows and half cabs but i couldnt get on with how snug they were around the ankle even loosely laced... the 2's lows were the shit though. so good. its a shame they dropped them... Ive heard about tnt5s that are due out. meant to be another update on the oldschool shape... be interested to see pictures though...
