Dr. Dog- I think it is actually great that Syndicate is that limited and prevents online sales...that way you need to step foot in a location authorized by Vans "S" as an appropriate retail environment that represents the body and sole of the brand. I may be biased because I feel like we really do it "right", but educating the customer and the buying experience is just as important as the item itself. Most stores are not capable or replicating that experience online.

While I totally understand where you're coming from and support the concept of going to and supporting those types of shops, it really sucks for those of us that live nowhere near any of the locations. Yeah, I could call around to those shops to see if they've got the pair I'm looking for in stock, but it's also more of a hassle and providing less of an environmental shopping experience than buying online.

That explains why I've had such a hard time finding anybody selling the shaka's though... Or the black and white wingtips last fall.

I may be hitting you up soon to see if you can help me out on these, though! Definitely interested in a black pair.

picked up a 9 in burgundy from 8five2.com instead, cheap if u live outside the states and fast shipping. caliroots cancelled them out of my order and refunded my money and sent me everything else. dont order from them.

the shoes are slightly disappointing. you can size down .5 size no problem. theyre alot wider and chunkier in person. this is based on the size 9. theyre still dope and will look better once the sole has been worn down a bit. csb

authorized syndicate dealers are not supposed to be selling them online. That said, there are shops out there that will help you out if you have no dealer in your area. I always take care of my instore/in-state customers first and foremost, but am happy to help a fellow forum member track down a pair of shoes if you cannot find them.

I like the concept of them but don't think I could wear them. Would rather wear a pair of shoes than trainers passing as shoes.

I saw these when I was in Boston last month, at Concepts.. I really wish I bought them then, considering there aren't any Syndicate retailers out here.. If someone could hook me up with a tan pair size 13 that'd be nice.
