I really dont see how people use it for the sole purpose of marketing their companies but I do believe twitter is a great way to start the bonding between your biz and customers or clients.

i have it set up for our clothing line to build stronger relationships with customers/fans, blogs, fellow businessmen, print shops and clothing lines.

it allows our followers to know what we are doing/working on before anyone else really does. i frequently update via cell phone @ our shop when we work on new shirts, accesories, sales and more. so far i like it, i have talked to some cool people and networked with a few other sites.

Yeah I use it from my blackberry I really don't use my desktop or laptop for forums and twitter and such. I really like the fact I can do all this from my mobile.
I know thats a dif thread all together but still I think its dope how we can connect with all our customers on the go.

TWITTER is definitely a great way to keep communication with fans/supporters of your clothing brand. It's a smart and very easy way to update your fans/supporters.

If I ever get up to a status where I start selling some tees and such TWITTER will definitely be an option for me.

its not like twitter or anything. its more for networking within ur area of business or to find more business connections.

when i first signed up i was amazed at how many people i found in my area(orlando) that i may be doing business with one day.

Yes, twitter can help rake in sales if you execute it right. There are many advantages to twitter. Make sure you set up some automated settings.. and down like "whirl" It's like an AIM for twitter so you don't have to log in to post everytime.

yeah twitter allows you to connect to people on a human level.

Linkedin sucks ass. All it does it tries to make money off of you. I tried to connect with someone I know but couldn't unless I knew someone who knew that person.
