You should probably change the name of your tee line. This game is hard enough as is and you are going to have an even harder time making a name for yourself when your line's name is similar to an already established company. Peace and good luck.

LOL!!! We wont change our name for no one!!!! I did a trademark search on your company and No dope couture.....But we have our named trademarked.
Plus there's all kinds of companies that use Dope for thier clothing line....we just happened to be the most original. There is Dope distrubution and Dope form europe or something like that. We have been around for years...we are now just using Hypebeast recently to get the word out there.

So yea we are in two different markets as it seems and thier is a distinct difference between the two of us.

Dope Couture is trademarked but not a registered trademark. It's essentially the same thing depending on how good your lawyers are. Ours are good enough to be lazy but I do need to do it regardless.

What boutiques are you trying to get into or which ones are you already in?

Lazzzy Lawyers huh...??? LOL! Then maybe you shouldn't be telling companies to change thier name when they have thier paper work together.

brands that plaster their brand name all over there shirt are everything but intuitive. By putting your brand name all over these shirts, they lose any thread of creativity they ever had. How about some real images, with actual meanings that spur thought and not a stupid phrase that spurs the legality of drugs.

It doesnt say legalize dope...its say's "Legal Dope". We dont advocate the use of dope....we promote an alternative source of dope. Like our style!
Which is Dope!!! Also it is Legal to sale it on the streets or anywhere in the world. Thats why we are "Legal Dope"!!!

Ps. This T shirt hustle was an accident. "Legal Dope" is the name of my Rap Group. I printed up some shirts with our name on it to give away as promotion, but then people were asking how much do they cost. Well me being the business man that I am....I said 15 bux...doubled my money and havent stop selling them since.

The payoff was too sweet to let a good hustle die.

So I took it even further by setting up booths at car shows, concerts, swap meets, boutiqes, internet and word of mouth.

People buy my brand simply just because they love the name. We are one of the lucky few that can come out looking vague by printing our name on a shirt and selling it sucessfully. Not every one can do that.

So to answer your greatly appreciated negative comment we enjoy the oppurtunity to explain our passion.

And thats being creative. Telling our story and making history.

"Its Not Dope unless its Legal Dope!!!!"

pss. New designz coming soon. (not just with our name either LOL!!!)

lmao you should be on fire lol.

No hate, but a total dislike of bland URBAN hippedy hoppedy stuff, I aint from the states and dont do a funny walk or hang in dahood, or spin big tunes, or follow a crows of lemmings straight off a cliff.

Try to learn about type, spacing, line weights, Illustration, creation of more than just reppin your hood, grow, expand and be outstanding... peace

im down with that, but his brand is more urban/rap fashion. the people who buy this type of fashion don't care and don't spur thought. they all think they're rich drug dealer gang members. so i mean, there's a market for this, but just not for most of the people here on hypebeast.

Dont get it twisted. We do not advocate any use of drugs nor gang activity.
We just love hip hop so much that we invest our passion in the addictive lifestyle that it has to offer. Sometimes simplicity is the best way to go.
Therefore if you know anything of the slang termonology "Dope" it is used very heavy in urban communities. We just made that even more positive by putting the "Legal" in front of it. How? No one can go to jail for selling this kind of dope....Legal Dope!!!!

ps. stay tuned as we bring even more eye openers to the scene!!!!

Legal Dope. To quell the stabs and critisism, I think it's important to really own your brand. You have to disassociate yourself with the everyday connotations of the word "dope". Over the top imagery, clever word play and establish your mission purpose. I don't anyone is interesting in the fact that you accidentally got into the T shirt business. Build the brand or stay in the booth.
