The starburst is mainly for designs sake. It looks a bit bland without it.

what's up with the Lincoln designs?? i've seen a few on Emptees and Designed by humans lately.

it's kind of cool, the Kanji or whatever doesn't really look like it goes with it.

Don't really see any correlation between Abraham Lincoln, greed, and Japan.

Any meaning?

Well, I didn't just want to write "Greed" on the bottom in a stylized way haha. I'm in Japanese in school so I thought I would incorporate it into a design.

Dunno whats up with the Lincoln designs, I haven't lurked much so I dunno. I'm doing a little series on greed sort of and I thought I'd use Lincoln as a conflicting idea of greed. Irony!

Abraham Lincoln is on the 5 dollar bill and the shirt is about greed so he represents money (I assume).

To tie both countries in you could have a red oval or circle behind Abe to look like the 5 dollar bill,which would represent both the dollar and Japanese flag and maybe add a little banner over the top or bottom just like the dollar that says greed in English and keep Kanji where it is or just put it on the banner instead . Either way, I like the concept and the design.

Well yeah, he was called "Honest Abe" which is selflessness, so greed is the opposite really. It's irony.

I'll test with that oval idea as well a bit later when I have time. Thanks for the comments + ideas.
