ooooooh i got two stores on south mixed up.. i was tinhking about the other store.. nah, Premiere is legit as shit. it's listed on BBC/Icecream as an official retailer.. but yea im with southwest54.. WTHN and Deep Sleep def. have the most character out of all the streetwear botiques popping up.

Premiere is just capitolizing off the hype. little over 6 months ago they only even had fitteds and throwback jerseys. then streetwear get's popular and all of a sudden they start selling dunks, BBC, and lemar & dualey. if you're going to support a boutique in philly for streetwear put your money into someone else like Afficial, WTHN, Deep Sleep, Pedestrian.. people who actually have love for the culture.

i made a special trip from the SW to get some pieces from Pedestrian this afternoon and the dudes were closed at 4:45. I don't call that love. On a saturday too ?)

thanks
Mar 11, 2007 @ 20:42
you don't know the circumstances of why they were closed though.. you're basing that off a loose assumption... there's tons of things that could have happened to cause them to close early on a saturday.
Mar 11, 2007 @ 21:04
not a problem B.Hicks.

I'm sure you've earnt your instore discount by now. you desevered it>smh
Mar 13, 2007 @ 21:06
^nah actually i've never even been to Pedestrian yet. i've only talked with dude over AIM.. just keeping it real, don't get your ePanties in a bunch because they closed early on a saturday.. feel me?

btw, incase you don't know yet.. that smilie face totally undermines anything you've posted.
Mar 14, 2007 @ 22:57
pedestrian is pretty cool, i was just up in philly unfortunatly my normal stop off at ubiq walnut st. couldnt happen, theyre renovating for spring, finally checked out Deep Sleep in Olde City, smallish shop but some killer stock (check them out if you havent), and WTHN was running a nice 2for $20 tee deal. ive got love for philly.

I know!&) Will try again this weekend but im not holding my breath. Will get over to 3rd street and check out this tee shirt deal also.

Ubiq shut up? The rumors are true then! whats going on there?
Mar 14, 2007 @ 23:53
^they're renovating for Spring.. they're supposedly bringing back more streetwear brands to stock instead of filling the place up with LRG..
Mar 15, 2007 @ 01:05
^ good to hear, about a bit of a change in their inventory being from dc i see entirely too much lrg as is.
Mar 15, 2007 @ 12:50

Mar 15, 2007 @ 13:23
^im not sure.. they didnt have any of the f/w shit there.. but MASON is a PR for House33 so i don't see why not. call 'em up and ask...
Mar 20, 2007 @ 01:44
haha, some dude tried to rob me at the greyhound station.
Mar 22, 2007 @ 02:32
rofl.. what happened?
Mar 25, 2007 @ 10:38
esp cause NY shops dont use fresh Philly rolls (Amoroso's rolls are king in damn near every Philly spot).

Sarcone's>Amoroso's hands down although the latter will do. Plenty of places to get a good steak in Philly but the pat's/geno's are highly overrated. Jim's is marginally better, Ishkabibble's for a chicken steak. It's really about finding the right hole-in-the-wall though.

I have to say though I'd trade all the food in Philly for some decent pizza though (only real pizza I've tasted comes from NYPD on 11th between sansom and walnut). And bagels (there's a shop on 3rd across from Nocturnal that's alright). Sorry Philly, as a whole NY/NJ food takes the taco.

Apr 01, 2007 @ 19:41

NY as a whole, no doubt. But i don't know why u consider NJ's food as a part of NY food

Apr 05, 2007 @ 21:51
southwest54 Damn that's BA that theres going to be an expo in philly. Too bad it wasen't in a month. I'm in NC for school, but i'd definitely go to it if i was back home in Scranton, PA. Sounds like fun.
Apr 07, 2007 @ 12:13
its going to be SWEET^

im traveling from my sisters birthday in Harrisburg. how big is the hall nd whats the competition?
Apr 11, 2007 @ 17:32
Good thing I checked this thread. I'm going to have to hit that expo up after I'm done here.

Nocturnal has gotten crazy with their prices. I remember being able to get sb's for retail back in the day and they were being shady about the Dino's.

I'm definitely checking out Pedestrian and I drove by WTHN on Saturday but didn't get a chance to check it out.

oh yeah:

PAt's> Jim's> Geno's> everything else

And anyone who says Tony LUke's cheesesteaks are good is a fucking wackjob because they are terrible. Now the roast pork and chicken cutlet is a whole other story. Whoever said Ishkabibbles for chicken cheesesteaks knows what's up too. I had a south philly CC for lunch yesterday.
Apr 14, 2007 @ 14:16
^haha, yeah word. event was pretty cool. kinda small, i didn't buy anything. saw southwest, he seemed like a cool dude. it would have been better if they could have made it free. hopefully bigger and better things are ahead in the future for philly.
Apr 16, 2007 @ 23:04
Was a great night. WHENS THE NEXT! Managed to get my hands on a pair of De la lows so it was worth it for me.

Camera battery failed on me so didnt get any pictures but i saw plenty of flashes. post them up!
Apr 23, 2007 @ 12:47
