Compound is the best spot for kicks in Oregon, and they stock all of the american hype brands. They're sales are really good and the owner is cool.

I still haven't been down to Hecklewood yet, and I think I might make a stop when I'm in town this July (I think I said this a couple pages back, but I got really sick the last time I went home).

Is hecklewood near compound? Where do you guys get your gear from? I either have to go to LA, which is seldom, or buy it online.

Anyone from Hillsboro? I'm still living here in The Bay, but my job has plans of eventually tearing up shop and moving there for good. What's the scene and nightlife like up there? Anything comparable to SF in anyway? Approaching the big 3-0 so the clubbin' days are catchin' up, you know? Before I make a commitment to make the move I'd, of course, like to find out as much about everything over there as possible. Apparently PDX isn't too far from Hillsboro, so the drive wouldn't be too bad, right? Any tips to be appreciated.
