Whats good Hypebeasts?
I rarely post anything here, but I do a lot of reading to stay up on things. Anyway I have a problem that I'm sure you guys can help me with, so here goes:
I'm planning a trip to the LA area around the end of August, and, although I've been to LA a bunch of times, its usually on family business.
This time, however, me and my girl are flying down to just kick it. We'll still be staying with fam and all that, but our time is pretty free to do whatever. So I was trolling through the topic looking for places to shop and spots worth stopping by when we're on our trip, but the big problem is that when you guys mention places, and stores, and the neighbourhoods they're in... I don't really have any concept of what's near where, and how to get to them, and how far they are from where I'm staying.
So I'm staying in Irvine, with my cousin, and he says its pretty easy to get to a metro train stop and that taking that should give us decent access to the city core.
Can anyone help with metro directions from Irvine, to must see spots and good shopping areas? Even if theres an area with like a few good stores and a decent spot for J's that you guys would recommend, that would be great, thanks!
I know I have to check out the Johnny Cupcakes store for sure, because that place looks crazy! I'd also be down for checking out Mr. Cartoon's spot, I heard he opened a store in Fairfax (maybe? might not be fairfax... I don't actually know where that is) or maybe the BBC store, or the Bape one. Anything worth seeing haha.

P.S. - Any beaches worth seeing other than the ones in Malibu? My girl is down for some sunshine.
