^ easier said than done. i grew up in california and have traveled many places both nationally and internationally but at the end of the day, NW > all. just somethin about it. kids are too caught up on the weather bullshit.

this. seattle and portland ftw. ohhhh noooooo it rains a lot. fuck that noise we get all different types of weather and we the prettiest based states there are. NW>

I don't mind when we have multiple seasons (everyone says the benefit of the nw is having all 4 seasons) but there are so many years where its 9 months of winter, 1 month of fall, and 2 months of summer. Then we miss spring which I think is the best season here.

I've traveled a shit load. Saying the NW>the rest of the U.S. is definitely a valid opinion and can be argued. But when you throw internationally in there then thats just really really far fetched.

There's a good chance, I'll be moving to Seattle from So Cal. Anyone have any advice for me? Hey db_cooper besides the weather, what can I look forward to?

im from socal im visiting seattle, you can look forward to a lot of shops, depending where you live, i live in orange county, theres a bunch of shops to buy your shit.. and you can look forward to seeing a lot of Vietnamese people and hispanics. not much of anything else

what are soem shops in seattle i should visit ?

Winner's Circle, Rock Paper Scissors, Goods, 35th and North are all worth visiting. But if you into higher end fashion, for denim and stuff stores like Ian and Blackbird are really nice. I shop at those a lot.
