Me and my homie will be in New York. Was hoping I could get some recommendations for local cheaper hip-hop/dub/hipster spots in general and for NYE. Places with no code, etc.

i don't know how it is for new years eve but Bob Bar in the LES is a great hip hop club. i have to warn you though, it's really small.

I just went to this place called Forum on 4th Ave and 13th street. It was decent. DJ had a good mix going, it got real crowded at around 1am. A lot of good looking ladies there too. But Bob Bar usually has peeps around your age. I'll actually be in Florida for NYE, have some business to take care of.

is time's square a fun time just in terms of wandering around for NYE?
how heavily is it policed? would we able to drink 40s in the crowd?
water bottle steeze? lol

Go to Broadway & watch shows lol, shop in SoHo, do hipster things in St. Marks. Visit the South Street Seaport, go to Times Square & enjoy the lights, go to Central Park, go to the MOMA & other museums. Go to famous burger joints, food spots, & critically acclaimed places!
