Kinda is from what I've seen, but it'd be dope to know some people from the area since I go to school here too.

been living in pittsburgh my whole life (only 18 though, lol) nice smaller city thats got a lot to offer depending on what you like:
museums- art museum, natural history, sports museum, warhol
food-primanti's is a must, dor-stop and pamela's for breakfast
sports- pnc park, best baseball park in the u.s.
shopping- kind of a weakness in our city but if your into streetwear social status (great sneaker spot too) and timebomb are worth checking out
and u gotta visit the strip district, like chinatown w/ a pittburgh twist, lol

Lived in Pittsburgh for the first half of my life, now I'm in Philly. Really loved the city, like way more than Philly. I like how it's smaller, yet still urban. Oakland is the spot to be, espically when the Fall or Spring semester of Pitt is in full swing.

Primantis is too nice, so is the O. Hit up the south side if you're old enough to go to bars. Watch out for Homewood and the Hill District.

Don't know if this applies to you, but I was, and still am like way into Graffiti, Pittsburgh was a sick city as far as Graff and street art go, because it isn't fucking huge like NY, LA, or Philly so there isn't a billion people painting shit/painting over other peoples shit. Just keep an eye out for it, some shits pretty nice.

Im from pittsburgh. It's a pretty cool city. Not too big and overwhelming, but still a ton of fun. It's got many different areas of town each with their own vibe.

South side: Full of bars, some restaurants
Downtown: Office buildings, theater district
Oakland: universities, hospitals
North side: stadiums, casino
Strip district: street vendors, food shops
East End: art & music, gentrification

I lived in Pittsburgh the last few years before moving to SF.
Food: Mad Mex in Oakland and Shadyside for bomb tex mex food. Oakland location has a half price menu after 11. Margaritas are good too.
Aiello's and Mineo's in Squirrel Hill for some of the best pizza you'll eat in your life.
Spak Brother's in Garfield is great for sandwiches and wings.

Gooski's in Polish Hill is my favorite bar in America, but you'll either love it or hate it. Dark and smokey dive bar. The food is great, I really recommend the jerk wings. They have bands play there a few nights of the week and sometimes there's a cover charge - so be sure to check out their schedule and see if it's your thing or not.

I live near Pittsburgh for streetwear and all that social status stocks bbc play clothes 10 deep ect.
For food primantis and local restaurants are the best.
For entertainment their are alot of good unique music venues/events happening for the 21+ and of course plenty of bars.
unfortunately for the under 21 crew their is alot less to do but still some good shows, hookah bars, random parties ect.

Im a Burgh resident my whole life (23)

Good local shops for clothing are def BLASFOME, Time Bomb, Social Stat. Theres a decent hiphop scene here just divided between the pop mac miller wannabees, the trap rappers, and the underground cats

cant believe no one's mention One Up in here. Really the only legit skate shop in pittsburgh, probably my favorite store in pittsburgh. Got some great kicks if you love vans like me. got some nike sb's and adidas skate shoes too. They carry some different brands based on what new stuff they order. Got some nice HUF. Theyve also have had aNYthing and ONLY in there. They have a bunch of customs decks, some designed by local artists. Yeah definitely stop in every now and then if u live in Pittsburgh. Its on E. Carson St between 14th and 15th street.

I thought They stopped carrying sb's.. I haven't been down in a minute. Nothing else really on the south side for me and its kind of a hike from my side of town.

pittsburgh is a dope little city. you can be in the boonies within 15-20 minutes of being downtown. It's a mostly suburban city with a small set of of beautiful skyscrapers down town.

Gotta hit The O in Oakland for some bomb late night food.

Pittsburgh lags heavily in the fashion scene though. I'm not sure why, but most people in the 'burgh just wear jean shorts and a steelers jersey....no swag.

There street wear scene is limited.  A small list of boutiques and brands:

BLASFOME
One Up Skate Shop
Time Bomb
Kush Friendly
Social Status
Klassiq Fashion

The O is a necessity. Every time I'm in the city I hit it up. My buddy lives literally at the dead end of Ward Street. We hike to the O drunk every night, few time's I end up just dying out on the steps of Towers after we eat.
