Never ones not to make the most of summer The Nextmen’s very own Brad Baloo and Dom Search have teamed up with The Doctor’s Orders to throw this FREE all day BBQ in the sunshine of the courtyard at Cargo.

Having hand picked some of their very favorite DJs from the capital and beyond they are gonna be living it up with this 12 hour knees up blessed by a soundtrack of Soul, Reggae, Hip-Hop, House, D&B and way beyond in what is sure to be one of the parties of the Summer!

Oh and did we mention it is FREE?

The Nextmen (3hr / 4 Deck Set)
As the hosts of this little shindig the main men themselves are headlining the event with 3 hours worth of summer bangers played on four decks. Expect a soul tinged mix of anything from Reggae & House to Hip-Hop & Dubstep that reflects not only their tastes but also their ever-evolving production style that has been refined across 4 full-length albums to date.
Handpicked to join them for this epic day of fun are birthday boy Mo Fingaz one half of London Hip Hop Night / Music Blog - Main Squeeze. Known for Hip Hop & Party music across the genres he loves nothing more than playing music loud and eating at BBQ's so this is a perfect party. It's also his 30th birthday so make sure you buy him a drink.

Top dog at Nice Up! Records and Digga Please. Party Banger, Label manager & Record Collector Shepdog is treating us to an all 45's Set. A seasoned vet on the scene and a known hit at many a festival his sets always go down a storm.

Good friends of The Nextmen, everyone’s favourite band of Essex boys The Milk joins the party for an exclusive DJ Set. Taking a break from their busy touring schedule they spin a one off set of tunes that have influenced their brilliant Soul drenched indie sound.

If you have partied in London at some point you would have heard DJ LoK smash it up. A club DJ for over a decade he has a record collection and stack of skills most DJs would kill for.

Keeping things bumping all afternoon in the sunshine is a host of talent that if you don’t know yet you soon will! DJ Odin is a serious turntablist who at 17 toured as Skinnyman’s DJ. Kwake spins a set of golden era Hip-Hop that will have your reaching for the air while Smitharene will be smoothing things out with his trademark sounds. Kicking the whole thing off is one of the most talented producers around Sam Zircon. Trust us that will not be the last time you will hear that name.

With great food on the grill & frosty beverages flowing all day there is no better way to spend your Sunday and if you have nippers bring ‘em along as kids are welcome up until 7pm.
