Give your opinions on which android/non-iOS phone you think is best in terms of smoothness, least amount of force closes, etc. I'm looking into buying one so i'd like some input from the HB tech homiez.

A friend of mine has the Nexus 5 and it's one smooth phone.  My contract's up in November so I'm looking forward to copping a Nexus 6 when it drops a little before that.

I have been very pleased with my Samsung Galaxy 4... works amazingly fast... I can do so many things easily and it always keeps up... battery life not too bad, as long as I charge it at night...
