As of right now, there are 2 models. 8GB and 16GB.

However it looks like 32GB will be released by the end of this month and it'll be priced $250 which is the price of current 16 GB model.

So I'm guessing they'd get rid of 8GB model.

Enough jib-jabbering, I like to know who owns Google Nexus 7 and tell me ur experience n etc

I don't have one but I got to fiddle around with the 16GB model for a little bit. Its fucking awesome. I like the 7" form factor.

If the tablet is Samsung, they can keep it as it will be ugly. ASUS have the best designs out, they should stick with ASUS. The Padfone 2 is the nicest looking Android phone out currently, although the new 1080p 5" HTC might beat it out. The N7 is nicer than the other 7" offerings. The TPI tablet is the nicest 10" tablet out. And hell, their Zenbook and Bamboo are the two nicest looking laptops available. ASUS is on that Mac simplicity as far as aesthetics, but at a fraction of the price with comparable computing power. To continue on with Sammy seems like a bad move, outside of getting use of the Exynos line of chips. Ugh, I also can't believe they are doing an LG Nexus, SK must be paying Android off.

@ocelot I ended up post-poning my plan. Because there are so many tablets right now especially 7" tablets.

So many are on the market that it's safe enough to say there's a tablet war going on. So I'm going to let these knuckleheads battle out then I'll cop either nexus 7 or nexus 10 or samsung 10.1 when their prices drop significantly...

Or buy the newer models since technology advances so fast now days.

However the real reason I didnt cop is cuz i bought 3 of 4G smartphones for myself and my parents lolol.

It all really depends on where you live (Taxes...). It's a 200$ Tablet, but if you catch gamestop on a +50% trade in credit weekend, you can easily knock that price down with a handful of recent games.

i just did this. haven't messed with android since i had a g1 years back. i unlocked the bootloader and rooted it already- what should i be putting on it now?
