@fuckenjoe nope not yet. ive been trying to read up on the whole process but i cant decide what rom would be best for me. its all so confusing hahaI am rooted. I have the stock rom. I am running Franco's kernel though for better battery and performance.

for those who are rooted, what's the best governor and i/o scheduler combo for pure battery life and decent enough performance for no lag. And about how much battery life would you get with the combo you're using?First I have to know which phone you have. I have a nexus 4. I use Franco kernel with a max speed of 1250 min 486. I undercooked my nexus 4 to get more battery. I/o scheduler is row. I'm getting 5 hours of screen on time. 15 hours in total.
I can't really explain a kernel. I just know that there is stock kernel, the one that comes with the phone. Also custom kernels like the Franco one I am using. These kernels affect battery life and performance. Franco's recent kernel runs smoother than stock and has better battery life.
