It will be a Google experience device, like the Xoom.

The branding is consistent with this theory. Nexus devices receive 'Google' or 'Nexus' branding, not 'with Google'.

The Nexus program is going to open up, and we are going to see Nexus phones and tablets from all the major manufacturers. This will help fix OS fragmentation and end the world of 2 handset releases/month.

Vanilla Android is good, and better than the OEM skins, but I can't see not running a custom ROM.

i believe it'll the model is LG Optimus G...

that phone doesnt have the microSD card slot and the battery is NOT detachable... probably 2 of the biggest reasons why ppl pick droid over iOS and this is what they've decided...

Non-removable battery and no mSD wouldn't be so bad if they made all batteries >2000mah and storage in 32-128GB options.

Yes Nexus phone are known for not having an SD slot. It's a flaw they have. This time with a non removable battery they are fucking it up. Usually you can buy a 16gb,32gb nexus phone.

I guess overall the Nexus OS is the best.

The Nexus S worked with Samsung and it was amazing. But LG is just trying to make a comback.

They've been out of the loop for a while.

well it turns out LG is releasing their special model for just the Japanese market which includes "Detachable battery" and "waterproof body."
