All depends on who you are and what u want Samsung has touchwiz and nexus is just pure android and its the only tablet that has 4.1 android performance was nexus could be a bit fast but then again the galaxy tab has a lot more that it comes with like micro SD back camera but for the price of the nexus 7 u can't beat it. Its well worth it for what it comes with I got Google drive and drop box for extra memory if or when I ever need it . all comes down to personal preference and what u want
