Basically my computer opens everything with Notepad++ now. Everything. I can't fix this and I've been on sites and tried to download the exefix_cu thing and all but nothing is working. If someone could help me you'd be a lifesaver.
Got it fixed. I'm a computer noob so I'm not good with shot like this so I'll answer myself for people in the future who may visit this thread via google search: try downloading a REG file that fixes .exes on sevenforums. Merge that and if it doesn't work (didn't work for me), uninstall your antivirus through your disable a program on the control panel. Then do a system restore to your date of choice. Not only did my icons get fixed, but everything stopped opening with notepad ++. if I was in your shoes and I saw this thread, I'd be so happy. I don't understand tech talk. Hope this helps.
