Would you buy a tablet otherwise? If the answer is no, for sure, scoop it seeing as the price is right. If you had planned on getting one though, wait it out and get a new one. I'd imagine the initial releases, the aGPS-only models), of the TF Prime will be available on the cheap soon, that'd be the way to go.

I never really understood the concept of a tablet. If you're looking to buy a tablet, you probably already have a laptop and a smart phone so I'm not sure what the point of buying a tablet is....

When the first iPad came out, i copped that shit and returned it within a week of owning it... it wasnt really practical...

the only thing i would use a tablet for is to browse the internet and i can just do that with my smartphone or laptop...

I mean I have a Imac and a android phone and I need a laptop/tablet so with that being said. Idk if this is good or not any other ones that are out there for less that 300 because $400 and up is like a laptop :/

its crap, trust. shits so fucking buggy. you're better off finding an asus transformer for the same price since they've been replaced/discontinued by the prime. and the transformer is still a beast of a tablet

What are you going to use the tablet for? Is it something that you really need or something that you really want? Me personally I would do some more research and come up out the pocket and buy a brand new one. I've heard some good things about the Samsung. I don't know anyone with the Lenovo.

Have any of you guys looked at the Nook Tablet? I bought the 16 gig tablet back in November. And I couldn't be happier with it. Just some basic info 16 Gig with micro SD slot. (can add another 32) But I went with a class 10 16 gig. Dual core processor 1 gig of ram. 11.5 hour battery.

Didn't you want the tablet to do some laptop-like tasks? Nexus 7 WILL NOT do those tasks. It's an eReader with a big SoC, that's all.

While it's at a much higher price point, look into the Transformer Pad Infinity. Expandable storage, which despite Google's claims, is much needed on a wi-fi only device. 1920x1200 Super IPS screen. There's a dock available as well. It also has the Tegra3, and is clocked at 1.6GHz out of the box. I think the 32GB version starts at $500, twice the price of the N7, but definitely worth it in terms of usability.

I like the N7, but I carry upwards of 40GB of data on my phone daily, so I don't see how I could drop down to ~12GB of usable space on a device that is wi-fi only and media/gaming oriented. T3 games are ~1GB each. Forget tethering too, without an unlimited plan, you're constantly paying to access items you've already purchased and stored in the 'cloud'. Cloud storage is the biggest fucking joke in a long time, I swear the carriers had a hand in its promotion.

I did wanted but I'm going to get a macbook pro later on. A tablet would be nice for a bit then switch to a real mbp.

But I'm not really planning on buying this. Maybe the nexus 10.

i have a smartphone and a nice laptop, and i find my ipad very practical.

navigating around on a smartphone seems very cumbersome after using a tablet.
