It only takes two screws on the bottom. Slide it out and slide in the new, then screw it in.

The hard part is finding a clear back with a flash diffuser on it.

araw, is that site where u bought urs from? it doesnt say anything about a flash diffuser on that site so how are your pics? and how is the quality? same thickness as the OEM backing?

how are the rest of your guys' pics?

my ROOT case has been cracking in some places so i emailed them and said i was unhappy. they told me to send it back for an exchange or refund. i have since repaired the cracks with superglue but im still no happy with the way it holds up even though i havent dropped it at all!
i plan on returning it and getting a clear back with a bumper of some sort.

When you receive both items, all you do is unscrew the bottom two screws on the iphone. Push down on the rear faceplate and push up. This will take off your rear and you just take it off and put on whatever one you purchased.

yeah, i bought em off that site. i don't think the picture quality suffers too much without the flash, but with the flash the pictures look kinda foggy. another thing to keep in mind is that the oem case has insulation and the transparent case obviously doesn't. you'll notice your phone getting a little warmer that usual. haven't had any problems with it yet though.

My contract is up this month so ima pick up a 4s. Has anyone used a Lifeproof case? It's impervious to fuckin everything while still being compact. Costs $80 but shit seems cool.

nope, not the mute switch.. the cracks are in every "open" place in the wood on both top and bottom, but not on the sides.
