Gotta move up frum dis scrubby ass Env3 being ashamed to text in class and for a while I've been trying to decide on either a new iPod touch or phone and then it dawned on me that I could kill two pigs with one bird with this 16 GB iPhone 4 but I feel like iPhones are the Nike SB's of smart phones. What smart phones are good right now on Verizon and should I robocop dat iPhone or look at like a Thunderbolt. Keep in mind yabwoy is on a budget til he hits that job at Baskin31Robbinz remain trill thanks

For most Droid's you could purchase am extended battery which lasts a lot longer than the default one. I had one for my EVO. The EVO was great but my screen cracked so I got the 4s.

I got the evo when it first came out and had a free upgrade by the time I bought the 4s so I got at a discount.

Yeah it's either the Galaxy Nexus or the iPhone 4S right now. Maybe the Galaxy S2 if you don't want to spend as much.

This is a good guide on buying smartphones. http://www.theverge.com/2011/11/16/2565102/smartphone-buyers-guide#whats-the-best-smartphone-for-your-needs

iPhone is a good device, especially if you want to just, you know, buy and use a smartphone. With ICS's release though, Android now has that easy usability. I'd equate a stock ICS device to a jailbroken iP4S. Galaxy Nexus would be a good choice if you just want a smooth phone out of the box, but you'd have to pay for it. A Galaxy SII is free, similar specs and is easily upgradeable to ICS if you're the least bit computer savvy, and even if not, the official update should be coming shortly.

So personally, I'd say go Android. If you do go Apple though, make sure to get the 4S. People who downplay the significance of dualcore are people that are just trying to justify their purchase of an outdated device.

Also, if you use a lot of apps, Android is cheaper on average, and has the fastest growing app market. I believe it has more apps already, and A LOT more free apps.

You kept a phone for 3 years? If I make it to 1 year with mine, I will be shocked. I'll keep it for sure because it's still comparable to a lot of phones out still, especially after mods, but I cannot see myself being complacent with the same device for that long.
