Apple didn't intoeyce the 64GB until the 4S, I would say its safe to assume that they will offer a 64GB I the iPhone 5

My girlfriend and I are on the at&t family plan together, my iphone(3gs) is eligible for an upgrade, but her iphone isn't (she upgraded to the 4s last year). Will they allow us to buy the iphone 5 for my upgrade, but transfer her account into the new iphone 5 and my account into her old 4s. I don't care which phone I have, but she wants the iphone 5.

^ you should be able to give her your upgrade without a problem, and she could just easily give you her phone. Only thing is since you have the 3gs you might need to just buy a new sim to stay up-to-date with the 4s. If a new sim isn't needed you should be good to go.

Thanks for the help. We were planning to do the upgrade and transfer in store, and we just don't want the workers to give us a difficult time, because we are transferring the upgrade to a different account.

Nah people do it all the time, and they know how to handle it.

You just go and buy the phone at the Apple store. Since your on a 3GS, they're going to ask you to pick a 4G data plan for your new iPhone 5 on your line. Then they will tell you to go to the ATT store and sort it all out there. Once your at the ATT store, you ask them to cancel/change your new 4G plan you signed up at Apple store, and transfer it to your girlfriend's line.

Ask for a new microsim for your line (so you can use the 4s), and they should straighten out her iPhone 5 for it. It's not a difficult process, and they go through it all the time. It's common for people to use other line's upgrades.

Shouldnt have, just make sure you straighten it out instore...

I went from my 4S to another ATT 4g LTE phone a few months back then went back to my 4S. Just need to talk to a rep instore. Bill didn't change.
