He has a loss against a cheater, which he redeemed. He has losses against Pac and Mayweather who are both p4p greats, and the best in the sport. He has a loss against Trout who is a lot better than everyone thought, and is undefeated. I think Cotto has more to do in the sport.

I agree with you. Cotto isn't afraid to fight the best or great upcoming fighters. He still has a lot left to give. holy shit mayweather is too fucking good. he may fight boring but all his punches were on point basically running circles on him. his fucking grapples and footwork is fast as fuck. damn pacquiao wont be able to beat himI think he's pissed at HBO so he's going to praise CBS and Showtime as many times as he can. He wants Mayweather Promotions to be his future after boxing, so without HBO he needs Showtime on his side, he can't burn that bridge. HBO will pretty much be Top Rank only from now on, which will probably end up being another reason we'll never see a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight.

Depends at what weight. At 154 Alvarez has a real chance, at 147 Mayweather wins it easily.I don't think he's ever going back up to 154, too much of a risk to take especially with Mayweather Sr's approach of a very defensive style of hit and not get hit as we saw against Guerrero.
The change in speed from when Mayweather goes up to 154 is quite big, he's nowhere near as sharp as at 147.
