I didn't see it but the thought of Bynum getting hurt is so scary. Best believe Kobe is gonna turn up another MVP year if things with the MRI aren't so good. Remember last year they said he'd be back in five weeks and he never came back. Fuck man. Just when all the cards were in place.

This also means that Ariza might have to start for now on, for that defensive presence early.

^ A little less now, since I won't be able to see Bynum dominate Perkins in the paint... I'm hoping for a good game nonetheless.

Bynum said he can walk and put pressure on the knee unlike last year. It'll be fine, I see him missing no less than 3-4 games.

I'm looking forward to Kobe scoring 30-40 and grabbing more boards each night to pick up Andrew's slack.

I would wear phat farm all next week if that happened.

Anyways he was optimistic last year, so I can't base anything off that.

Fucking Bynum, He always got to get injured when the team is doing well. Hope this injury isn't bad and he comes back in a few games.

So it's 8-12 weeks. Fuck.

However, there is some optimism here. Unlike last year, Bynum can immediately begin to rehabilitate his body for the time he has off, so come playoff time, he should be coming off fresh. The Lakers have won many, many games without Bynum before and they shouldn't have any real problems making it through the conference playoffs. There was no talk about the Lakers' toughness and physicality until they played Boston.

However, I think a trade should be made for a defensive prescence. Walton, Vladimir, and Lamar are all realistic bait for a player that would routinely bring in the rebounds and blocks.

hey all.

we made it to the finals without bynum last year.

and by 8 - 12 weeks... bynum should be back in time for the finals.

so... just well wishin for bynum to get better.

Back to square 1, in regards to Bynum

and for L.A. I still feel they're the best team in the West.
Offense production won't be a problem, but they really need to find their defensive identitity.

yeah,, and + we've added a healthy ariza into the mix so i'm optimistic as well. just hope bynum won't be tentative whenever he comes back,, just want him to pick up where he left off. . although that's asking a lot since it's such a freak injury. smh

Yep he deserved it, Lakers needed it to prove they can win without Andrew.
