i can't believe we lost to the Blazers (who didn't have their leading scorer Brandon Roy), the Bobcats in overtime (tisk tisk), and the knicks (the knicksconfused

the blazers having 6 players on the court might have helped though

Honestly, I'm kinda nervous for the Celtics this season. I'm really hoping they make it to the Finals.

We were hella winning until the Lakers came around. What happened? Did the Big 3 all of a sudden lose all their hope and self-esteem????? We lost to the Knicks, Blazers, Bobcats, and now, the Rockets. Wow. We better step our game up for April. This month is not looking good.

EDIT: And do y'all think that if we still had James Posey, we would have a good season and we wouldn't lose the the Fakers?

It's okay, let him roll with the bandwagon. I mean, when was the last time anything from San Diego won at anything?

Uh oh, tough guy sports talk.

I guess I could give you credit for being with Boston thick and thin for over a decade, even when Pierce was leading the team to horrid and somewhat good seasons. Yet is just so easy for fans to congregate around a team that goes from the last in the east to championship caliber, especially when they are from the West Coast. Best of luck to your team, won't be as easy this year.

Last time I checked, our San Diego Chargers just got AFC West, and last year in 2007, and the year before that, and two years before that. We were conference champs in '94.

Are there any trophies to show for that? You know, championship trophies?

Chargers - 0
Padres - 0
Clippers - 0

I guess the last resort includes SDSU and UCSD sports, dunno how successful those programs are. Can you inform me the last time those teams won something noteworthy?

Fair enough, except for the fact that the Bolts one an AFL in the 60's and an AFC in '94.

SDSU has 6 championships and UCSD has not won anything noteworthy as of yet. But how many championships have the Bruins won? 1? And what about the Dodgers? Please be so kind as to enlighten me. And I'm not even gonna talk about USC. That speaks for itself. But whatever. Apparently, this argument is not gonna go anywhere, since we have differing opinions, and we both cannot be swayed with each others' rebuttal.

Alright, chill. I'll just say for the record that UCLA has somewhere in the neighborhood of 103 championships and the Dodgers (in LA) have five.

However at the end of the day the only things that matters to me is the NBA (maybe not to you, remember I don't know you), so we'll just have to enjoy this season with our teams. At least we can agree that the Finals rematch is gonna be crazy, assuming our teams keep on a victory streak.

Agreed. And yes, the only teams that are the most important IMO are the NBA teams. Though I do have to support my Bolts from time to time.

Well, I apologize for going off on you and/or coming off as a douche back there, but I lose my cool when people make wild assumptions. Cheers and enjoy the Finals. cool
