Don't listen to the guy above me you'll just die early, Eat alot of meat, bread and and good carbs and you should be able to gain weight rather quick, If all else fails buy a protein shake, But dont gain weight and let it sit there bulk up and start lifting if thats your goal.

its simple...

find out how many calories you need to maintain your current weight.... then eat at least 500 calories above that every day...


if you want to gain muscle then get on a strength training program such as rippetoes and eat 1.5 grams of protein for every lb you weigh...and also make sure you eat at least 6 meals a day...

do this and i guarantee you gain a good amount of weight...if you want more in depth information search it up yourself...its the internet

6 meals a day. All of these meals should not be tiny bitch meals but good nice ones. In between every meal try to have a snack, some fruits, a shake, jamba juice, peanut butter, nuts, mozzarella sticks, something. After eating all these 6 meals, like at midnight, whenever you go to sleep, get a box of pasta (only $1.59) and fuckin cook that shit. Put some cheese, a tiny bit of sauce, whatever you like, and inhale that shit. Eat it ALL up. Do this for like a month and you will gain like 15 lbs. Try and work out while doing this, no cardio, and you will gain a tiny bit of muscle and some fat. When you get to the weight you desire, work out and try and get rid of the fat and keep the muscle.

if the reason for gaining weight is to build lean mass/muscle then go for it. If it's just to add extra lbs, then it's unhealthy and stupid.

Add 500 more calories to your diet each day and start lifting weights(ease in to it and read more about it online/books).

It really depends on your body type and muscle structure. Im guessing you've been skinny all of your life, and have rather thin if any muscles. That means your an ectomorph. Which basically means, you don't gain weight easily, but you don't gain muscles either. So if you eat lots of protein, it won't make you bulk up, and eating lots of protein and lifting weights will only make you toned.

You should be happy, you can basically eat what you want, and not gain weight. Besides, why would you want to get your weight up?
