Horrible day in skateboarding today. Pro skater Lewis Marnell has passed away. I've personally met him and got the chance to skate with him a few years ago here in NYC. He was a super nice dude.

Apparently, he forgot to take his pills and passed out in the bathtub. Truly fucked.

Yeah man, it's been kind of a shitty year for me so far. Sucks about your board. I've had that happen once or twice.

Sup boys. I'm been getting back into skating after a little bit. I need a new board any suggestions? Any good tech boards that don't cost a shit ton and actually work? Any reg boards that are good? I need to work on a lot of shit I got into a bad habit of pushing mongo and really need to work on my Ollie's and need to get to a park.

^ I'd say a Krooked or Zoo York. They're relatively light and have a good shape for flip tricks. As far as pricing goes, go to a shop and see if they have boards on sale, which are usually $40. And quit that mongo shit out lmao.

Btw, just got some Mike Anderson Spitfires today, after hearing nothing but good things about them. They're wider than Spitfire Classics, which is just what I needed/wanted. A bit heavier too, but I'm already riding the heaviest setup ever (Creature, Indy's, and now these), so my legs are pretty used to it. Love them so far.

And I'm supposed to be using a washer for the top bushing, but I could feel these soft Bones bushings rubbing against the kingpin like a motherfucker and kept clicking for some reason. So the only solution was to take the washer out.

You dont need the washers for bones unless you're tryna git gnarly on anything over 10 stairs.

Everyone swears by Bones Swiss. But, I wouldn't spend more than $25 on bearings, so I stick to my Bones Reds.

Copping a chocolate board to replace the Almost one. My tensor trucks on my cracked one were brand new, now to find wheels

Ironicaly just got a new Girl deck yesterday then saw this thread. I have not been up to my skating lately, which sucks due to school, work and having a gf. and all my old friends have parted so its been tough but being on it every now and then is still a great feeling

BATB6 is up now too, tight
