Whats your budget??? you could just get a store complete from a skate shop
if there's one near you. If not get a blank deck, ventures or indi trucks
blank wheels and cheap bolts.

since i am very new to skateboarding, i don't really know what any of that means.

i heard to stay away from store complete boards, but IDK.

Store completes get a bad wrap i think it depends on the price and what you getting
some times the deals are good and you can skate them then and there.

If you you mainly wanna cruise you could look into a cruzer or long board the wheels
are bigger trucks higher and decks wider. I think there easier to control but
there mainly designed for cursing no tricks. You could get a regular skate board but
get slightly bigger wheels and wider deck there still cruzable and you can
do tricks easier.

Blank deck is a plain deck no design usually one colour there cheaper cause there plain
some are like half price of a normal one.

$150 you should be able too if shop around indi's are independent truck, ventures a
truck company as well. Speed comes down to wheels and bearings.

Sizing I ride a 7.75(width) if you can get to a skate shop go stand on a few boards to
see what feels right. You could measure your mongoose one for reference.

I'm far from an expert, buy yea hope that helps

how do you guys feel about this? it says the complete deck is $150 and it looks pretty sweet. do you think I should customize some things?

i want a quality board (definitely a skateboard), but again, nothing too fancy as im a beginner.

I think if the decks $109 the parts you'll get with the $149 complete will be junk
And if you add better parts you will be nearer to $200 maybe over. I'd also just
get a regular deck there no need for extra light or shock proof... sure others will
agree???

if you plan on just riding it for a while, i say you get it right the first time with a legit board instead of a complete sold at shops.

maybe a chocolate deck, ventures trucks, spitfires (or ricta) wheels, and bones swiss bearings?

seems like a pretty good board

Swagged out. The vhs qual made the video haha so fucking raw. I don't envy the dude who had to edit that though haha I hate working with tapes.

I used to skate 3 years ago. but i stoped because i fucked my self up going down a big hill and then my wheel hit a pebble. you know how that would of turned out. but last week i bought my self a new set up. a pretty cheap one just incase i decided i dont want to skate. i feels so good now that ive started skating again. but its hard to relearn some tricks.cool

Weeeew, Chewy Cannon & Olly Todd. Two of my favouite UK skaters back in the day. Last time i saw any Todd footage he was rocking flares and a Liam Gallagher haircut. Check out his section in Portraits by Landscape skateboards, unreal.
