I've been talking about starting for years and I still just never pony up the bread to buy a deck.

Damn, some late bloomers^ It's a very expensive bug to catch

Current set up:

Shop board - 7.75 and heavily razored
Mystery wheels - FLAT SPOTTED
Reds - GREAT BEARINGS
Ventures - NOT GOOD

Next board: Blueprint, I've been really feelin this company lately, and some Indys

honestly, i would stay away from krux. theyre light, sure. but theyre really really really weak.

if you want a mid-priced truck, indy stage 9 and 10's are great.

but if you want to spend some more money, tensor magnesium trucks are the BUSINESS. 50 bucks at your local skateshop for the pair, bad ass, lightweight and pretty durable.

Got 3 pairs of Half Cabs (for 75 bucks!) coming to me Friday, pretty stoked. Probably one of my favorite shoes of all time to skate.

Right now my setup is looking like:

8.5 5Boro
Indy 139s with Bones Hardcore bushings
Bones Swiss no bushings
51 mm blanks

It's a boat but I'm 6'2", so much more comfortable/stable. Not hard at all to flip either, if anything it's easier than small boards for me.
