well I mean, there's no use arguing personal preference, but hardflips down sets are some of the most bad-ass things ever lol

All I do is smoke weed, blow lines, and listen to MF DOOM. And rap. http://www.facebook.com/SpacemanNYC

Yeah but my point was, with the Baker type guys, you pretty much literally get only stairs and no lines. There's no creativity and no fun in it. It's like this:

Skater 1: "Hmm... instead of fs flip down 10 stairs, what if I did it down 11?"
Skater 2: "I don't know how you think of this stuff man!"

And btw, there are PLENTY of videos that have only ledges in them that are great.

Fantastic example! But really, you barely see a stair set Goldfish, Mouse, Chocolate Tour or other like-minded 90s videos.

Totally sold out - got a pair of SBs (Bruins) a while ago, which I told myself I'd never do. They're alright, the insole is kinda weird feeling and they aren't holding up brilliantly. Would get Adidas if I could (they make the BEST videos atm and their designs are great) but they're hard to get in Australia.

^My mate's got a pair of campus vulcs and says they are the best shoes he's ever skated. I'm skating in blazer lows, too bad they discontinued them cos they're so sick to skate in.

yo, it's mad weird skating in LA. Like, everybody does it here. In NY, generally to be a skater you're pretty much like on the fringe but out here it's so mainstream and accepted. Shit is bugged.

Lol here in the UK (or at least where i live) skating is not mainstream at all. For instance in the area i live in (which isn't particularly small) the only people who i ever see on a skateboard are my friends that skate and theres only about 4 of us.

Edit: What setups are you guys skating? For me its a 7.6 5boro deck, some shitty tensors, local company wheels and rush bearings. I really need new trucks but I can't be bothered to spend

I noticed that when I was in England! There were so many blatantly skatable spots that you would never see in Australia (where skating isn't THAT mainstream), let alone be uncapped.

I really think for that reason, skating in LA would suck - so many other skaters to ruin shit for you!

Yeah, just meant like, the more skaters there are, the more aware people are of it and more likely a rail might get grind-blocked, etc.

no, it goes to the left instead of staying under my feet, so when i land the board isnt there, or i just get one foot on.

its probly just ur positioning, but if not you need to make sure your back foot is going straight down to keep it straight and you front foot will need to go up and foward, if your feet dont to that your board will turn
