^ how is his time for skating done? He skates because he loves to skate and its fun.. The whole point behind it, he also hasnt lost any touch on his skating, thats why people like him because he has that style of skating! Also video the commander video was sick!

if you watched his game of skate against chris cole youd know he has lost touch on skating, thats why he wanted to play with his tricks because he would have most likley gotten blacked out playing with actual tricks, and all the tricks in his battle comander are basically all the tricks he can do. and just because skatings fun and he loves it doesnt make him good i know plenty of people like that but they still suck and have no sponsors and are going nowhere in skating

Wow, wtf...This was a complete waste...Anywho, Mike V always skated the way he does and some of the shit he was doing in that BC berrics vid, no one can do. Its his style and he has been committing to it's growth throughout his career. Mike V already stated once before he is not too swell with flip tricks at all, its not him. Respect him as a unique skater, just because he doesn't do the technical shit that's in now doesn't mean he is losing his touch, he never was a "technical skater" to begin with.

see that's the shit I hate about skating, people are never willing to embrace different shit. Yeah, he wasn't backside flipping stair sets or doing flip trick-grind-180 out on ledges and shit, but that shit was still official. There's no rulebook for skating man, he does it how he does it and I guarantee that nobody in skateboarding could recreate that part

edit: and this is coming from a dude who used to think Mike V's style was lame as fuck, but as RUBYRHOD was saying, dude's committed to the evolution of his style and it definitely shows

word. richie jackson is that dude, but ZA i can see what you are saying, but i don't think the amount of tricks he did was enough for a battle commander, half of the shit he did was kinda lame too, compare it to a bangin part, then too all the other battle commanders, it doesn't look right

yeah that's the plan. I can pretty consistently ollie off curbs and over bottles and lines and shit like that so I figure, whenever I do start working on flip tricks full time, I'll learn it way faster since my ollie will be so stable
