I'm going to guess you've never played football. 9/10 times a whistle is made you don't even hear it on the field because there is so much other noise. Review the video, Chris Johnson kept his feet moving attempting to make forward progress (After the whistle). Ed Reeed challanged him, met him and did his job, and CJ's injury had nothing to do with this play so I really can't understand why it bugs you so much

I agree, ravens are a really good defensive unit and such, but they are also [in my opinion] one of the dirty teams of the league. If you remember earlier, they had bounties on Rashaad Mendenhall and Hines Ward.

I hope these images end the dispute about Chris Johnson:

As you can clearly see, his legs are wrapped up so I don't know how his legs could still be churning. Ed Reed could've have clearly drop him to the ground, thus ending the play.

4 ravens to tackle an elusive back? This included Ed reed, terrel suggs, and I believe ray lewis and Ngata. That's two linebackers, a defensive tackle and a safety. I know that it's hard to hear whistles and shit, but come on, common sense plays a big part as well as a measly whistle.

after a play during the 4th qrter,, he went to the giant's sideline and pretended to make a phone call. he got penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct,, i think he was making fun of himself and asking if the nfc 'ship game can end in a tie? LOL

That was retarded.

yeah i want to see the video of that play because you can see the 2 dlinemen still on chris johnson looking up at the ref who flags the titans oline for trying to get them off of him after the play. i thought he wasn't gonna get up after that because he stayed on the ground for a while smh
January 13, 2009 @ 14:54:49
Dude, that doesen't proof anything. Watch the video, when Ed Reed meets him, his legs are still pumping and he's still going for extra yardage. Which is what i'm arguing, that Ed Reed's presence on that hit, was part of his job.

Now, the twisting, and moving Chris Johnson awkwardly was not needed I agree. But the way you're making it seem, is like CJ was on the ground, play over and then Ed Reed came over and started 'bending' him. Cmon, it goes both ways.

cards leading 24-6 @ halftime,, underdogs are provin' everyone wrong so far.

Cardinals look dangerous when they're D is playing good especially wit Boldin back now.
& WOW that AFC Championship game had some hard hits & lots of ppl got injured, both D's play hard but Steelers offense was obviously better even without Hines Ward. Its gonna be a good Super Bowl.

i am crying myself to sleep because the ravens lost
i guess i gotta root for the other bird team now
lets go cardinals beat those fuckin steelers

Dean Spanos says LT may be out of SD next year, I really wanna see him retire as a Charger but we could get great value for him. Maybe get a star defensive player or a couple of high draft picks.
January 21, 2009 @ 08:46:05
cards '09 champs bitch
January 24, 2009 @ 01:56:29
Man can't wait for the Draft.
January 24, 2009 @ 02:29:54
anyone think sproles is good enough for the full-time role as the franchise rb for the chargers?
January 25, 2009 @ 20:32:30
nope, i think if one of those big guys drop to you guys in the draft like beanie wells, or the guy from wisconsin i doubt it though
January 25, 2009 @ 21:13:12
its about time the cardinals made it to the super bowl
January 28, 2009 @ 00:47:29
Sproles has the heart to be a starting running back just dont know if he'll hold up for the season.
January 28, 2009 @ 00:48:28
Where do you guys think Anquan Boldin will end up next season?
January 28, 2009 @ 08:55:34
I hope AZ wins blushing
January 29, 2009 @ 14:13:34
i got my money on az.
January 29, 2009 @ 23:03:40
Sproles is tuff but I don't think he can take all them hits throughout a whole season, hes a true split time back & I think Anquan Boldin should go to the Eagles cuz all they need is a big star WR and their set

sproles is too small to handle being an everydown back, he cant handle the hits over time. He is good for an explosive punch every now and then. If Moreno or Wells get to you guys i think that would be agood 1-2. You really never should have let go of Turner though. And Boldin will stay with AZ.

So i put a paycheck on AZ, might be a bad idea but wtf?! anyone with me in this beotch?

Has everyone except me forgotten that this is a team that went NINE AND SEVEN in the regular season? Why does it shock you that they're down?!
