yea he's fucked tbh, hasnt ref'd a match in two weeks, its not looking good for him.

I believe the decision for him not to referee any games whilst the investigation was going on was a mutual decision between him and the referee's union, whatever they are.

I'm sure charges won't be brought, and effectively he will be found innocent. All four of the referee's team deny hearing(making) innapropriate comments and none of the United players heard anything. Also, David Luiz and Ramires are the two that claim to have heard Clattenburg say something and their English isn't that great.

I think its more than likely that someone has misinterpreted him saying "Shut up Mikel" in his North-East accent. Will be interesting to see what the FA have to say, whether Chelsea will face sanctions and what punishment will be dealt if no charges are brought against him.

Also, did you see the banner from the United fans for the Capital One Cup game the wednesday after the league game? "Chelsea standing up to racism since sunday"

Although, like you say, he is fucked really. His image has been tainted by these allegations and it will be hard for him to shake them off regardless.

How may fucking times will he pair Giggs/Scholes with Carrick in midfield before he realizes that it doesn't work anymore? His reliance on them doesn't make any sense whatsoever. He treats Anderson and Cleverley like they're the ones who are 38/39 years old, and they're completely incapable of starting 2 matches in a row. why would you rest them ahead of a meaningless CL match in midweek? That's the type of game players like Giggs should start.

It happens man, I think Liverpool sacked Roy Hodgson the day before they had us in the FA Cup at Old Trafford, it was the start of Kenny Dogleash's reign. I think owners have the 'Bounceback Effect' in mind when they sack managers these days.
