I cant even blame AVB. All the old pieces of shit stinking up that lockerroom for the young guys (i.e. Drogba, Lampard, Terry) have done nothing to help AVB this season. Abramovich should hire a manager and tell him to make his dream team, offload the old shit and build with the sales and Roman Russian Oil Money.

Smashed Spurs, although we didn't even play well at all. 1-3 is a bit harsh considering they dominated most of the match, but oh well... Only one top 6 team left to play before now and the end of the season, and that's City.

Roman is an idiot for firing AVB. I thought he would have learned his lesson after he got rid of Ancelotti. At this rate none of the top managers in football will ever want to manage Chelsea.

Finally AVB is out! Lampard an old piece of shit? He's the first to score double figures in nine consecutive PL seasons. He's still got it, I'm not sure why AVB didn't have him start in a few matches. He finally got the starting XI right against Bolton, when we had a whack starting xi against Napoli. I've said this before, Chelsea needs that older, wiser, disciplined manager. Regardless of the sport, you need the old cats on your team. The "Chelsea's too old" parade won't end, we either have young kids coming up, or we've given them away.

I disagree, AVB was trying to bring long term change to Chelsea, all Roman is doing is bringing more fear into potential managers with his erratic sackings

Hopefully he learns that Rome wasn't built in a day, older players need to make way for fresh blood

Lets be real though....RM is playing (arguably) the best football in the world right now. Chelsea is a solid team within the PL no doubt, but on a global level they are a joke. Same goes for my boys at mercyside sad

I think if Real Madrid win the champions league, (that would be three CL titles with three different clubs) maybe Jose would be up for doing the same with Chelsea. There was no "long term change" needed. The players are there, he just used all his subs almost every match, which were off the wall! Ashley Cole was out, but he put in Bosingwa to start? When we do have Ryan Bertrand, a young, left back on hand. We do have fresh, young blood!
