yeah, i got western kent and nova right as well. but i had duke going to the elite 8, had i known they were going to shoot the ball this bad, i would of had them losing their 1st round matchup against belmont.

Just go ahead and pick all the number 1's.. who are you an ESPN analyst?

lol, for real though, why does everyone think that the PAC-10 is the best conference? Big East for sure top to bottom is the best.

Because the PAC-10 is the best. They produce great talent in just about any sport. Other conferences just have hyped teams like DUKE and UNC. UCLA is slowing becoming a monster again along with the rest of the PAC-10 schools like USC.

We're talking basketball and this is the sport where the Big East is supreme.

alright, first off, love them or hate them, ucla is without question the most successful college basketball history with 11 national championships, they've had the greatest coach of all time in john wooden and arguably the best college player of all time in bill walton. no one comes close to even challenging the history that ucla has.

that being said, whens the last time a big east team won it all?? last i remember was uconn in 04. the big east is a crowded conference where only a couple of teams really stand out. sure, they had the most bids this year, but thats cause theres 16 teams in that conference! pac 10 also had half of their conference get into the tournament. a perfect example of how much better pac 10 is than the big east was last night where washington state crushed notre dame by like 20. ask anyone who knows college basketball and they will tell you the pac 10 was the best confernece this year.

Im talking about basketball as well but i was just making a reference to them being good at all sports. All these other schools have one sport teams. So im saying the PAC-10 contends in every sport which makes them better than any other conference. As far as basketball goes its 1)Pac-10 2) ACC 3) I cant even name a big east team >sad

umm, louisville have probably the hardest road to get to the final out of all the teams that are left. if you give me 3 reasons why they will first beat tennessee, then go on to beat unc then win their final four game to get to the championship game against what looks to be ucla, i will believe you. as much as im a fan of rick petino, if david padgett gets shut down, theres no way the cards will win.

actually ih8fakes, with this "supposed" surgery that chris lofton got this week, louisville is the favorite in this game.

^^^ i havent watched memphis enough this season, but from what i do know about them, they are a very high powered offense but shoot horribly from the free throw line. so this game could go two ways, if its a back and forth shootout, as good as ucla has been playing defense, wont be able to stop memphis. however, if its a close game and it comes down to possesions and ft's, i cant see ucla losing.

if there is a team that is built to beat ucla, memphis is that team.

I cant fking believe the shit that transpired last night. up 9 with 2:00 to go, then missing 3/4 from the line. they were shooting 80% from the line in the previous three games before last night. Dont remember the last time I was so angry

^^ yeah man, i couldnt believe it either..they shot so well from the free throw line the whole tourney, cdr in particular, he was shooting 85% before last night..i think rose was still suffering from that illness he had from the gummy bears cause he looked really sluggish out there. and it really didnt help that dorsey fouled out with that stupid foul with 2 minutes left in regulation.

the chalmber 3 pointer was the momentum changer, memphis looked dead tired in o.t. i also didnt like the call that calapari made to foul with 45 seconds left in o.t. when they could of stopped them then went for the tie rather than foul and be down 5.

it was a great game as a neutral fan, but i'd be hella gutted if i was memphis fan. sorry about the lost man, if rose stays for next year i see them back at the final four next year.

yeah Rose and CDR could both stay another year, along with taggart. and Memphis has a 6 10" forward 28th overall in the country coming in from highschool and if Rose did stay which I'm sure he wont I'd bet some kids would commit

i really hope rose doesnt go into the draft, i dont think he is ready, and i dont know how he could leave memphis with that awful taste in his mouth after being so close to a nat'l championship other than him seeing nothing but dollar signs.
