Drop bars aren't meant to fool anyone some people just like them more/think they're more comfortable

tons of people ride with drops on the street. for example: every single roadie has them.

araw at bituin: I can't imagine how bad that bike is in a cross wind. My TT bike has about the same profile aero wise and it gets pushed around in small winds. I can only imagine what its like with spokeless wheels.

Pretty sure vc is sarcasm.

You might as well flip the disc for that fetish. Trade it for a rear wheel +cash. Then your build will be under $600.

That rear wheel isn't gonna do you any good or score points. With any wind, you're going to topple over. Plus you can actually strip the rear hub, making the wheel worth a lot less than what you paid, and pointless. Resulting in you spending more than $600 for the build.

Dropbars are the best handlebars ever. They are really comfortable and offer you many different ways to have your hands while riding. It's especially useful when going on long rides. I would hate to use a straight bar or risers on a long ride.

It doesn't matter what kind of drops. They are still really comfortable. If you've done 60 miles on risers, then that's how you prefer it. As for me, I prefer drops for long rides and I'm pretty sure a lot of the fixie riders on this forum would agree.

looks like a track frame. horizontal dropouts usually = track frame. nice bike either way.

^^^^ good eyes, the gr-9s don't even have clips yet =/
i haven't even ridden the fetish yet, but when i do, it'll definitely be just on the street for numerous reasons. no velodrome in arizona sad. it was a cheap build. and it's probably not the lightest bike out there haha.

pretty practical build for street use then, i must say.

judging it from the drop outs and the chain stays, it is a track bike.

About a year or more ago, I whipskidded slightly in light rain, sprinkles, sorta slickish tires, then there went my APCs back pockets and saddle I was wearingsad

I sold my ~1.5yr used beat black/red/white FTP for same price I bought it at, added $50+27.2thomsonpost for 9.9/10 condition Vigorelli+31.6thomsonpost :D

Theres the only news for me. Nice build by araw for under 600. Definitely suggest ditching that rear as well like others have said.

+ we have special bike lanes in the netherlands, you can see the red line on the left. It's stupid to drive on the cars lane and not on on the bikes one

also, this stupid vid caused the police to give fines to people with fixed gears; for having no brakes, thus being 'dangerous'
