Andy.Get the Windsor Hour or you can be lucky and find a great bike on OC Craigslist. I'm constantly looking. Maybe I can help you out. What's your budget?

That's a good looking Bianchi a page back. I took my friend's road bike (platforms too) for a spin the other day, lost control while coasting (lapse of judgment...forgot about using the brakes to control speed) and bit it. Tore up his bartape and now he's pissed. I guess I take the precision control of fixed for granted!

the tape would be the least of my worries if someone took my bike and ate shit

did you not try ebay or the leader bike store? its not any cheaper to buy a leader frameset. It doesn't include a headset or fork. You can buy a lot better for the money.

Nope it fits me like that. For some reason people think that stems should be level or angled down b/c it looks better that way. The idea is your back is supposed to be flat and parallel to the ground.

your homie should have gotten some foot retention rather then a 300$ front wheel.

yea. I'm 6 foot tall with the torso of someone thats supposed to be 6'3 with the legs of someone who is 5'9. That bike is huge though. Its a TT 56 which basically is like a 58 roadie. I wanted to get a specialized transition but I never a good deal on one in my size.

How would you look stupid? I think sometimes, it's OK to do the same as others are doing, especially if you'll enjoy what they are doing. A lot of people follow trends, it's part of life. Do what you want to do, ignore ill-mannered society. smile

nice hed there tim. yeah the only similarity between the gt and the pipebomb is the tt slant and the triple triangle. the gt frames were mass produced alu/steel frames while the pipebombs are custom made steel?/carbon frames.
