Anyone know where I can find a sizing guide?
or know what size frame I would need for a 6'0 person?

Nah. Haven't. And yeah, they do suck. As people stated, the stock parts to most bikesdirect bikes are shit. but tubes should be easy to replace.

Can anyone post some advice about painting? i.e what types of paint, primers, taping, and painting procedures? I'm gonna give my whip a new paint job this weekend. I've been planning on just sanding it down, taping everything off, hitting it with a primer, paint, then possibly a clear coat. Sorry if this has been posted before, I haven't read through the entire thread.

sounds good. i haven't painted any bike parts yet, but i've painted some car parts. i'd do 2 coats of paint/ 2 coats of clear coat though. unless you're worried about the weight lol

my friend who's a 6 footer rides a 56cm.

if your friend really rides a 56cm his bike is tiny for him im sure he has his seatpost way up and hes doing twice the work to go anywhere, im 6"3 and I ride a 60cm. also if your trying to do tricks and shit slamming your seat post is the dumbest thing you can do you get so much more leverage with a properly fitted bike instead of settling and slamming your post

When you strip, make sure you wipe down the frame, so theres no extras on it. I use a baby wipe, and a towel to make sure its dry.

I did about 2-3 coats primer. Sand after the 2nd coat. Made sure it was super smooth.
A few coats of paint, till the color is desired.
People say use 2-3 CANS of clear coat, but Ive only done a coat or 2. I dont care, I beat on my bikes anyways from riding, locking up, etc.
But if you want a gloss finish, youll want to use a buffer.

Prep is important.

I'm debating on getting the windsor "the hour" or kilo tt. I can afford the kilo which costs a little more. What's better on the kilo than windsor?

That definitely looks sick as fuck.
I have a fizik poggio right now and that shit gives me massive butt aches, definitely no comfortable.

I really wish i could just find a cheap arione that does not sell out in fucking 10 seconds.
May consider copping that though sonny, good looks babe.

I tried out the Fuji Track 52cm bike yesterday and i love the fit so much but don't wanna spend that much for it. www.fujibikes.com/Specialty/Track/Track.aspx

I'm looking to buy the motobecane track bike but the only size that comes close to the 52cm fuji is a 49cm motobecane but the top tube length is about an inch(2.5cm) shorter, is that going to be a huge difference? www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/track.htm

How tall are you, I have a 52cm Fuji Track and it's a little small for me.
