i can't believe they picked gasol as an all star.

yeah he missed a good amt of games to begin the season. @ least zach randolph made it; he has been amazing so far and memphis is on a roll

ouch for the celtics fans.

lol that last orlando magic play was comical. JJ was scared to dribble, VC wasn't expecting the key pass at that time. who would've thought shard would've ran across KG for a layup?

That was good defense in that play too..until the last 2 seconds.

On another note, I just saw the East and West lineups for the All Star game. I'm calling it now; West is taking it.

the celtics did too. KG hasn't really done shit since he has been back.

I hate gasol. I don't think he deserves it especially with the way he and bynum were playing earlier in the season.
(I'm a clippers fan and I think kaman deserved it since he is in fact the number 1 center in the west, not a player than has intangible qualities that was shifted out of his position so he could make the all-star game).

David Lee > Al Horford. I'm surprised Chauncey isn't on West reserves.

kaman should not have made. he has nice numbers yes but looks @ how his team is performing. he doesn't get enough face time either since he plays for the clips.

yeah chauncey's team is on a roll. . 8 straight wins 2nd seed west

and kaman's squad lost to the lowly nets(who were missing 2 of their starters) come on now

But All-Stars aren't based on the team mixtape_03, they're based on the player & Kaman is playing pretty damn beastly this season.

Kaman > Gasol for the All-Star game.. Gasol missed too many damn games & still makes it to the All-Star.. WTF

you're right. . he def doesn't get enough face time bc of the team he plays for; bc if zach randolph made it chris should've had a legit shot. but the reserves were chosen by all 30 head coaches so i guess no love for the caveman. .

# of games won, nor games played should be a factor for all-star consideration. Honestly I think the players should choose who makes the team (in addition to MVP, COY, ROY, etc) since they have the best grasp of which people are deserving or not. That'd prevent majorities or myopic assholes from screwing over the players/coaches who really deserve it.

dwight was unstoppable tonight. it looked like he was playing at the level of a prime shaq. if he'd get more touches the magic would be twice as deadly.

I do think Chris Kaman deserved it this year. On the way Pau has been playing and games he missed, Bynum > Gasol so far this year.

edit: Oh and is it just me or does Chris Bosh look like a dinosaur?

Lulz, Raptors are going to be so shitty when he leaves, there's no way they're getting fair trade value for him. If I was their GM, I'd be trying to ship him and this years first round pick in exchange for David West and Peja Stojakovic so they get a replacement PF and a person who can actually shoot the tre. The Hornets are trying to shed salary anyway, so even if this move doesn't work they could care less.
